The Commissioner General (German: Generalkommissiar) of the Imperial American Protectorate is the highest ranking officer of the of the New York Security Forces in North America. Acting as the direct representative of the Order Marshal in the occupied North American continent, the Commissioner General commands the combined forces of the New York Security Forces and National Security Bureau throughout the entire Protectorate.

The title of Commissioner General evolved out a command and control necessity following the signing of the Americas Treaty between the Empire of Japan and the German Empire.
